Stovetop Espresso Maker (Stainless Steel)

Now you can enjoy a cup of espresso drink at home without having to invest in an expensive espresso machine!  These stainless steel espresso makers are available in 2-cup (100-120ml), 4-cup (around 200ml) or 6-cup (about 250-300ml) capacity.

2-Cup, 4-Cup & 6-Cup Stovetop Espresso Makers

4-Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker

To enjoy a good cup of espresso coffee, simply follow these instructions:
  1. Unscrew and remove the top part of the espresso maker
  2. Fill the lower chamber with water until just below the safety valve
  3. Place the filter funnel into the lower chamber and fill in with ground coffee (fine ground espresso coffee works best)
  4. Screw back on the upper chamber.  Make sure it is securely screwed on to get a good seal
  5. Place the espresso maker on the stovetop (make sure the handle will not be directly over the fire) and turn the fire to medium or medium low.  The size of the fire will depend on your stove and you should experiment to see which fire size is best.  On my stove, I find that a medium-low works best
  6. Once the coffee has filled the upper chamber (it should take just a few minutes), and before the coffee starts boiling, remove from the stove.  Be careful as it is hot!
  7. Pour out into a cup and enjoy!
  8. If you prefer a cappucino or latte, froth up a bit of heated milk with a handheld frother and add to coffee!
